Searchmont Ont. to Halfway Haven Photo Gallery
These are from a trip we did this past May 2005 in Canada, we went from Searchmont Ont. to Halfway Haven staying for 3 days and then returning to Searchmont where the tow rigs were parked. Halfway Haven gets its name from its location halfway between Searchmont and Wawa and is a popular spot for Snowmobile enthusiasts during the winter months.
Halfway Haven offers overnight accommodations along with three hearty meals a day, but bring your pocket book for fuel as they have to have it trucked in via some rough logging roads and it will cost you nearly 6 loonies a gallon.
